Given the wheel as a cylinder, the gears as gears, I think the equation for horsepower is as follows:

hp = torque * rpm * volume

So, a 5.0 Liter Mustang V8 has how many horsepower?

It has (google it...and FASTEN YOUR SEATBELT...):

529 Torgue

So we GET:

hp = 529 x 20.000 x 5 = just about 52 million horsepower.
