Matthew 8:16

Matthew 8:16 is a verse verse in the eighth chapter of the Gospel of Matthew in the New Testament which relates Jesus exorcising at sunset.

In the original Greek according to Westcott-Hort this verse is:

Ὀψίας δὲ γενομένης προσήνεγκαν αὐτῷ δαιμονιζομένους πολλούς· καὶ ἐξέβαλε τὰ πνεύματα λόγῳ, καὶ πάντας τοὺς κακῶς ἔχοντας ἐθεράπευσεν·

In the King James Version of the Bible the text reads:

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
